Kirkland Lake Residence Parking Policy
Effective July 1, 2025

To ensure safety, order, and comfort for all guests, the following parking rules apply at Kirkland Lake Residence (KLR):

1. Parking Entitlement
-
Each unit (room) is entitled to one standard parking spot.
-
Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis in designated spots only and not obstructing other vehicles.
-
Do not park in spots with designated signage, including those marked “Reserved” or “No Parking”, as well as any areas clearly identified for management, maintenance, or emergency access.
-
Vehicles must be parked properly within marked spaces.
2. Additional Vehicles & Equipment
-
Due to space restrictions, at this time we are not able to accommodate the parking of trailers, boats, recreational equipment, or oversized vehicles.
-
If you require a parking space for an additional personal or work use vehicle, you must contact the office in advance.
-
Approval is subject to availability and current occupancy levels.
-
If approved, the rate is $50/month + HST ($56.50)
-
-
Permission for additional parking may be revoked at any time with 48 hours’ notice if the space is needed for incoming room rentals.
3. Registration
-
Vehicle information must be provided to management before or upon check-in.
-
Required details: make, model, colour, and license plate number.
-
-
Unplated vehicles or vehicles not registered with management are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
4. Visitor Parking
-
Due to space constraints, there are no visitor parking spots available. Street parking is available on 4th Street, subject to availability.
5. Winter Parking
-
During winter months, guests must cooperate with snow removal efforts by temporarily moving vehicles as requested to facilitate plowing.
-
Failure to comply may result in towing or additional fees.
6. Vehicle Condition
-
Only operational, insured vehicles with valid plates are permitted.
-
Vehicle maintenance, repairs, or fluid changes are not allowed on the premises.
7. Enforcement
-
Violations of this policy may result in:
-
Warnings
-
Revocation of parking privileges
-
Towing at the owner's expense
-
Termination of the rental agreement in severe or repeated cases
-
8. Liability
-
Kirkland Lake Residence is not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or vandalism involving any vehicle or equipment parked on the premises.

Guests are responsible for securing their property and assume all risk associated with parking on-site
